Willow Tree is an intimate line of figurative sculptures representing sentiments of love, closeness, healing, courage, hope…all the emotions we encounter in life. The Creche is designed to display the classic Nativity collection. While simple in architectural detail, the Creche has meaning built into its very design.
The classic Nativity Set provides the basis for a continuing tradition… start with the six-piece Nativity Figurines and Crèche, and continue to build with The Three Wisemen, Shepherd and Stable Animals, Little Shepherdess, the Zampognaro and many more pieces… it’s a gift-giving opportunity for many years to come.
The piece has a regal, stately appearance, yet is constructed from humble materials of barn wood and nails. The structure’s proportions also suggest the size and shape of the cross, while its rusty nails foretell the crucifixion. The Creche intimately shelters the Holy Family, then opens wide to welcome shepherds and travellers from afar. The item is made in resin and hand-painted with lead-free paint. Supplied in a branded gift box. Not a toy or children’s product. Intended for adults only.
